Food (dinner)- contacting vendors from approved list for quotes & menu options.
In the past we've had parent volunteers to serve food & clear tables. Day of dance, you will help coordinate and direct them.
Baked Goods- Get quotes/options & share with commitee. Order and deliver to venue
Beverages- communicate with store prior to ensureavailability ,pick up and deliver to Regent.
DJ- Looking for a kid friendly DJ, experienced in children's parties. Per the Regent they must be insured.
Fund Raising Areas
Flowers- boutonnieres, corsages & single rose
Purchased prior and picked up at Winthrop the evening before dance.
Team leader will order (typically through Sams) and help organize volunteers to distribute.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and organization is a huge plus.
Photographer Assistant (2)- Purchased prior to the dance. Mainly need the night of the dance to help with purchased list and put photos into frames.
The closer we get to the dance the more volunteers we'll need.

A survey will be emailed to all families to vote on theme. After theme is decided we can start with decorations.
Inclusivity
A. Keep as "Father/Daughter Dance" but ensure that all families feel welcome. Before invitations go out, send an email stating that one able parent can attend.
B. Rename it "Darling Daughter Dance" or similar. Change verbiage on invites etc. and send email.
C. Email a survey to parents. Possibly along with theme.
Decorations
Email me if you'd like to join the decorations committee. We will have some crafting sessions and will make a Pinterest board for us to share ideas.
